We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Finance to join our dynamic team at Arrae, a leading health and wellness company dedicated to enhancing lives through innovative products and services. The Director of Finance will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, maintaining fiscal integrity, and ensuring the company's continued growth and success. The ideal candidate will hold a CPA certification and possess a strong background in financial management within the health and wellness industry.


Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy: Develop, implement, and refine financial strategies that align with Arrae's overall goals and objectives. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to executive leadership to support decision-making processes.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, working collaboratively with department heads to establish accurate and actionable budgets. Prepare and communicate regular financial forecasts to guide resource allocation and business planning.

Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and analyses. Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. Present financial results to the executive team.

Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure optimal liquidity while maximizing return on investments. Implement effective cash management practices and maintain relationships with banking partners.

Debt Management: Work with debt providers to secure debt financing for inventory and other company operations. Must have experience with building out cash flow models in relation to debt financing.

Risk Management: Assess and mitigate financial risks by implementing internal controls, conducting risk assessments, and staying updated on industry trends and regulations.

Financial Modeling: Develop financial models and scenarios to support business decisions, investment opportunities, and growth strategies. Analyze potential mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships for financial viability.

Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering professional development and ensuring a high level of performance. Promote a collaborative and positive work environment.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and product development, to align financial goals with overall business objectives. Provide financial insights to support data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is required.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with a substantial portion in the health and wellness industry.
Strategic Thinker: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute financial strategies that drive business growth and operational excellence.
Financial Expertise: Thorough understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, budgeting, and forecasting. Experience with financial modeling and analysis.
Leadership Skills: Proven track record of effectively leading and developing finance teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable insights. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Technology Proficiency: Proficient in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, compliance, and reporting requirements.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Able to manage competing priorities and drive results.
