DARE

What’s a trend or shift in wellness consumer brands you’re watching closely?

Maggie Sellers: I’m loving the shift from reactive care to proactive care. Brands like Prenuvo and Neko Health are making it easier to catch health issues early and approach wellness from a place of knowledge.

I’m also watching how personalization is evolving in the space — tailoring supplements, routines, and programs to individual needs.

But most importantly, I'm so energized around the rising transparency around mental health. I live with it, and seeing more people talk openly makes me feel less alone, and way more empowered.

To elevate our lives, we have to let go of the old stories, habits, and beliefs that are weighing us down. What have you surrendered lately to align with your highest self?

Maggie Sellers: One of my hot smart rich girl toxic traits? Thinking everyone’s mad at me or secretly hoping I’ll fail. But I've realized people are too busy thinking about themselves to think that much about me. Letting go of the “what ifs” and the imaginary narratives in my head has been one of the most freeing shifts, and it’s made space for real growth opportunities to fulfill my dreams.

Walk us through your morning routine. What are some non-negotiable practices or products that you’re loving in this season of life?

I travel close to 200 days a year (!!) so my routine needs to flex with wherever I am. Some non-negotiables:

  • If I’m with my partner, we always do a 5-minute cuddle, it keeps us connected in the chaos!!

  • I immediately check my Oura app, and my bank account and credit cards. Health and Financial awareness = grounding.

  • I never do coffee on an empty stomach. It’s food first, then coffee loaded with collagen and colostrum. Extra real dairy.

  • Dry brushing, fascia blasting, and gua sha are musts, sometimes pre-movement, sometimes post-walk. But they're all in there in some order.

  • I never skip at least 2 minutes of journaling with my baddie affirmations and a 1-minute grounding breath before diving into the day.

Set the scene for a travel day. What are some of your favorite HSR travel hacks? What’s in your carry-on?

I’m answering this on my fifth flight this month, and my second transatlantic one, so I feel qualified ;)

  • I always move my body preflight, long walk + strength training to fully exhaust myself. I go to the same gym as Nish and Siff and love getting there before a flight.

  • I completely skip coffee on travel days like a lunatic. The withdrawal is brutal, but it helps me avoid jet lag and fall asleep on command, adjusting to the time zone much easier. I'd rather have a sluggish day from no coffee than a sluggish few days with jet lag.

  • As soon as I board, I switch my devices to the new timezone. It helps my brain start adjusting immediately. I also set a timer clock, for some reason it helps my anxiety to know how long I've been in the air for.

  • I swear by Flykitt, a blend of supplements, tech, and products that help me reset quickly. They are always on board with me.

What’s your favorite Arrae product and why?

Maggie Sellers: Calm is my go-to. As someone who’s constantly on the move and juggling a million tabs in my brain, it helps me actually feel grounded in my body, without the crash or grogginess.

If you had to pinpoint one “secret ingredient” for achieving mind-body-spirit alignment, what would it be? How does it fuel lasting success?

Maggie Sellers: IMO, the biggest unlock has been surrounding myself with the right tribe. Letting go of relationships I’ve outgrown, without guilt, was a hard but necessary step toward full alignment. If someone or something is no longer serving my growth, it has to go. That and not doom-scrolling on social. Protecting my mental space has been a game changer.

If you could go back 5 years and share one piece of advice with your younger self, what would you say and why?

Maggie Sellers: I’d tell her to stop caring so much about what people think!! Post the damn photo. But I think something even more important in the here and now is constantly reminding myself:

“Stay naïve, Maggie. Your delusion is what will keep you successful.”

That version of me 5 years ago took wild risks, in dating, work, life. And I’m so inspired by her. Now that I know how hard things can be, the fear creeps in. But I want to stay a little naïve. That’s where the magic lives.

When do you feel like the most magnetic person in the room?

Maggie Sellers: When I’m fully present. That kind of presence is magnetic whether you're talking to one person or 200. A big smile, real interest, and undivided attention, that’s what draws people in.

How do you ground yourself before a big moment—whether it’s a podcast recording, speaking event, or walking into a high-energy room?

Maggie Sellers: I actually get nervous when I'm doing a public speaking engagement and people might not know that! But I take a deep breath, remind myself I worked hard for this moment, and shift the nerves into excitement. I’m here to serve, and that mindset keeps me anchored.

Fill in the blanks. I used to think fulfillment looked like _____, but now I know it’s actually _____.

Maggie Sellers: I used to think fulfillment looked like being the best at everything, all at once. Now I know fulfillment is seasonal. It shows up differently in different phases of life, and that’s okay.

Who or what is inspiring you lately?

Maggie Sellers: My sister. She’s a full-time mom (with no nanny) and a wildly successful, present entrepreneur. She’s also my business partner.

She juggles it all with grace, no anxiety, no drama, no comparison, and I admire her so deeply.

To know me is to know her. Follow my Kris Jenner: @katiesellers_ — she’s stepping more into the spotlight at Hot Smart Rich, and I love seeing her shine. I hope I can be half as amazing of a mom as she is one day.
