The Feel Good Club: Navigating PCOS with Maya

The Feel Good Club: Navigating PCOS with Maya

We believe feeling good isn't something you have to “earn” or reach through perfection. It's something you consciously build, one ritual at a time.

The Feel Good Club is a monthly spotlight on women in our community who know feeling your best isn’t about doing more. It’s about finding what works for you, and coming back to it every day.

This month, Maya is sharing her non-negotiables for navigating PCOS (now recognized as PMOS). After struggling with hormonal acne, inflammation & search for a miracle solution (spoiler alert: there wasn’t one), she learned that the biggest differences came from showing up for herself everyday through small, intentional habits. →

Maya's PCOS Non-Negotiables

Eating a High Protein & Anti-Inflammatory Diet

I focus on eating protein with every meal to help keep my blood sugar stable. I’ve also cut back on food that causes me inflammation — for me, that’s carbs & dairy, but it can be different for everyone, so find what works (or doesn’t) for you.

Low Impact Movement

PCOS bodies don’t like to be overworked, so walking is my main form of activity. I aim for 10k steps a day & do hot yoga regularly. I really try to be gentle with my body and not push myself too hard because it can cause inflammation.

arrae Inositol

I take Inositol every morning. It’s a delicious vanilla stick pack that’s clinically-proven to  support your cycles and hormone balance. I also takes arrae MB-1 for craving control, an energy boost, and additional metabolic support.

Lymphatic Drainage

To help reduce inflammation, I dry brush everyday and try different lymphatic drainage massages. This helps reduce water retention to ease the puffiness.

PRO TIP from arrae: Take 2 Bloat Gummies a day to target digestive discomfort & ease puffiness. Plus, they contain 5g of prebiotic fiber per serving for long-term gut health support.

Simple Skincare

When it comes to skincare, I’ve learned that less is more. I keep it simple with only a few, hydrating products and it has really helped with my hormonal acne.

Managing Stress & Sleep

I am super focused on getting 8 hours of sleep & overall protecting my peace — I truly believe it’s one of the most important things I do for my PCOS.
