Welcome back to The Align Edit: an exclusive series from our favorite lifestyle creators & wellness experts to help you ALIGN with your highest potential.
Kenzie Burke is a multi-faceted creative, designer & founder of slow-luxury clothing brand BRÛLÉ. She’s an embodiment of discipline — clearing out what doesn’t work, locking down on what does, while making space for creative flow. She’s proof that less is more. That’s where true power lies.

What’s your favorite arrae product and why?
Kenzie Burke: Magnesium. Hands down. It really works for me. I take it in the evening after a long day building my brand and writing for Substack - and within 30 minutes, my nervous system drops into stillness. It helps me sleep, yes, but more importantly, it helps me recover. It’s become a non-negotiable.
If you had to pinpoint one “secret ingredient” for achieving mind-body-spirit alignment, what would it be? How does it fuel lasting success?
Kenzie Burke: Conviction. It’s not a supplement, but it is the ingredient. You can have all the green juice and gratitude journals in the world, but if you don’t believe in where you’re going and stay loyal to that belief even on the hard days - you’ll burn out or get distracted. Conviction is the glue between wellness and success.
If you could go back 5 years and share one piece of advice with your younger self, what would you say and why?
Kenzie Burke: Stop doubting your taste. You don’t need more input - you need to build what you see in your mind. And keep going. The detours are part of it, but don’t stay stuck in the ones that drain your energy. You’re going to become the woman you’ve always known you could be. You just have to move.
To elevate our lives, we have to let go of the old stories, habits, and beliefs that are weighing us down. What are a few things you’ve surrendered lately to align with your highest self?
Kenzie Burke: I’ve let go of the belief that I need to explain myself. I used to over-share or over-justify decisions - on social media, in business, in my personal life. Not anymore. I’ve also surrendered the loop of “healing forever.” At some point, you just decide to move forward. That’s when everything opened up for me again.
Walk us through your morning routine. What are some non-negotiable practices or products that you’re loving in this season of life?
Kenzie Burke: I wake up by 6 a.m. and don’t touch my phone. I either ice roll or dunk my face in an ice bath. Then it’s hot lemon water with sea salt, and I take my dog outside. I do five minutes of breathwork, journal, and go to Pilates. After that, I usually write for my Substack (The KB Report) before starting the rest of my day. This rhythm is what holds me and is the foundation of my business.
Fill in the blanks — I used to think wellness meant _____, but now I know it’s actually _____.
Kenzie Burke: I used to think wellness meant fixing yourself.
Now I know it’s actually being with yourself. And from there, choosing better every day.
Walk us through a day in the life of KB. What’s keeping you energized and laser-focused, even when doubts and distractions creep in?
Kenzie Burke: My days are structured but full of flow. I start slow and rooted - morning routine, movement, writing. Then I move into the creative: writing for Substack, making graphics for my brand, designing for BRÛLÉ, planning campaigns, sourcing fabric, editing. I spend most afternoons Downtown LA in my factory with my manufacturer, Francisco. I stay focused because I love what I’m building. This brand, this life - it’s personal. When doubt creeps in, I remind myself that I’ve already lived through worse. This is the part I asked for.
A hot take on wellness or something in your routine that would shock most people:
Kenzie Burke: I believe in discipline more than I believe in balance. I’ve never been one to coast. Also - I’m not a fan of random supplement stacking. Less is more. Learn your body. Listen to it. Treat it with elegance, not fear.
Who or what is inspiring you lately?
Kenzie Burke: My future self. The woman I see in my mind - clear, grounded, wildly creative, running a world-class brand and living well. I’m becoming her.
