THE FOUNDER FILES

with Siff and Nish

Welcome to The Founder Files: an email-exclusive series from arrae co-founders, Siff & Nish. Each month, we're answering your burning questions about entrepreneurship and start-up life.

Today, Siff's taking the mic to answer one of our most asked questions:

"How do you make unsexy problems chic?"

1. Treat Your Customers Like Influencers

From the start, we've firmly believed that community is EVERYTHING. We never shy away from gifting the incredible people in our lives: moms, sisters, friends-of-a-friend. Word of mouth is still the best form of marketing!!

From hosting community events in LA to NYC to launching our VIP Subscription Program, we're always dreaming up new ways to give back to our arrae family 🤍

2. Make Your Social Feed Beautiful

When starting arrae, we knew the jars had to feel extremely chic and luxe. Something that could live on the kitchen counter when we had guests over.

The same principle applies to our social feed. Aesthetics can make even the not-so-sexy problems like weight management and constipation approachable.

3. User Experience is Everything

It sounds simple, but create what you wish existed. Focus on creating the absolute BEST product out there and don't rush the development stage. Implement customer feedback.

We launched Bloat with packaging we didn't love on a self-built Shopify website (you gotta start somewhere). The majority of our energy and dollars was spent creating the most innovative and effective natural bloating formula on the market – and we've sold over 1M+ jars to date.
