MANIFEST with Roxie Nafousi | The Align Edit by arrae, Volume 09

Welcome back to The Align Edit: an exclusive series from our favorite lifestyle creators & wellness experts to help you ALIGN with your highest potential.

To kick off our 2026 series, we’ve invited best-selling author and podcast host, Roxie Nafousi, to share her insights on manifestation, self-esteem, and how to develop unshakable confidence.

Roxie reminds us that manifesting your dream life isn’t about perfection. It’s about continually showing up for yourself (through good and hard seasons), and continuing to surrender old habits, patterns, and beliefs that no longer serve where you’re headed.

It’s time to MANIFEST your best year yet →

MANIFEST

with @roxienafousi

What’s your favorite arrae product and why?
Roxie Nafousi: My favorite arrae product is the Bloat capsules. Gut health has such a direct impact on how we feel mentally and emotionally, and when my digestion feels supported, everything else feels more grounded. I love that it works quickly but gently, and it helps me feel comfortable and confident in my body!

To elevate our lives, we have to let go of the old stories, habits, and beliefs that are weighing us down. What are a few things you’ve surrendered lately to align with your highest self?
Roxie Nafousi: I have let go of over explaining myself, saying yes out of guilt and not recognizing the importance of switching off. Choosing rest and honoring my boundaries has been a powerful act of self respect for me.

Walk us through one of your favorite ways to bridge the gap between your present reality and a manifestation you’re calling in:
Roxie Nafousi: I focus on embodying the version of me who already has what I desire. That means asking how she thinks, how she treats herself, what boundaries she holds, and what actions she takes consistently. I then commit to showing up as her daily, even before the external results arrive.

What’s one thing you wish you could go back and tell your younger self during life’s rock bottom moments?
Roxie Nafousi: The pain you are in will one day become the source of your strength, purpose, and compassion. The universe is going to reward your strength and resilience in the most magical ways, just you wait and see!

What do most people get wrong about surrendering their desires? How do you find the balance between taking action and receiving what the Universe has planned for you?
Roxie Nafousi: People think surrender means giving up, when really it means releasing attachment to how and when things happen. I take aligned action while staying open to outcomes unfolding in ways I could never plan. It’s about doing your best while you ride the waves.

You so beautifully shared about your journey with BDD and negative self talk. How did you learn to alchemize patterns of shame and self loathing? What do you wish more people knew about that chapter of your life?
Roxie Nafousi: I learned that shame thrives in silence. Healing began when I started speaking honestly about my struggles to my friends and family, and committing to therapies that would help me to change the beliefs I was holding about myself.

Fill in the blanks: I used to think confidence looked like ____, but now I’ve realized that it feels like _____.
Roxie Nafousi: I used to think confidence looked like being the loudest in the room, but now I have realized that it actually about an inherent knowing that you are enough as you are and that you are worthy of joy, love and abundance.

You say in your book Confidence that true confidence is not a trait, it is a decision. What are your best tips for building unshakable confidence from within?
Roxie Nafousi: Start by keeping promises to yourself, no matter how small. Learn to speak to yourself with kindness rather than criticism. Build a strong internal foundation so your sense of worth is not dependent on validation, praise, or external success.

When you’re feeling disconnected, what brings you back to center?
Roxie Nafousi: Slowing down. Breathwork, journaling, long walks and spending time with people who regulate my nervous system always bring me back to myself.

What’s been your favorite reframe that’s opened up more freedom in your life recently?
Roxie Nafousi: Accepting that something is not working is not a failure, it is a power move. That reframe has helped me release guilt, pivot with clarity, and make decisions from self trust rather than fear.
